Dr. Lecturer Gökay Özerim is awarded Jean Monnet Chair on migration in EU-Turkey relations by the European Commission.

The chair is entitled “Multifaceted Approaches to Migration in the EU and Turkey” and the activities will include summer courses, a variety of workshops, seminars, research activities, and regular courses during the next three years.

Jean Monnet Chairs are the teaching posts with a specialization in European Union studies for university professors. In addition to the Chairholder Dr. Lecturer Gökay Özerim, the Chair team consists of Prof.Dr. Aylin Güney, Dr. Lecturer Elif Çetin, Güldan Kalem, and international guest scholars.
