Seminar – “The Securitisation of Climate Change: Insights from Four Country Cases”

Prof. Dr. Thomas Diez (University of Tübingen, Germany)  gave a seminar titled “The Securitisation of Climate Change: Insights from Four Country Cases” as a part of Yaşar University Department of International Relations seminar series. During his presentation, Diez provided a systematic comparative analysis of climate security discourses in four different countries: USA, Germany, Turkey, and Mexico and discussed how climate change is presented as a security issue.
